"Abby"
Abby is retired from breeding and will continue hunting everytime we get a chance.
Abby is a 8 year old yellow female we acquired in 2007. Her previous owner hunted her extensively on waterfowl and did some pheasant hunting with her. She is good in the house and has a great temperament. She now has a couple of seasons hunting with my other dogs and does a terrific job finding birds and bringing them back when we shoot them. Her energy is tireless and can easily hunt all day. In training she marks well and delivers promptly and is always willing to do some more work.
At 75 lbs, her pedigree, attitude and disposition make her a great fit for our breeding program. We have run her in some Juniors to get her used to the hunt test game. She currently has her Junior Hunter title and will continue working her towards Senior. She gets very excited when running test and puts on an impressive blast of energy as she hunts for the birds.
Abby is the 2nd best mom we've ever owned willing to take all the teeth and claws a 4 week old puppy can dish out as they nurse. She has been a terrific fit in our breeding program producing pups with awesome dispositions that know how to hunt.
