We accept deposits on planned and current litters. The amount of the deposit varies, but is equal to approximately 25% of the purchase price of the puppy. The order in which we receive deposits determines your pick of the litter.
In the case of a deposit on a planned litter, if we do not have the sex or color of the puppy you have chosen your deposit will be immediately refunded. Otherwise, deposit is non-refundable but can be used on a future litter. KC Kennels has adopted a no-refund policy due to the costs incurred of continuing care for the puppy and additional advertising expenses, and the loss of business in turning away other potential buyers.
After the puppies are born you are encouraged to visit them as often as you wish. When the pups are ready for their new homes, we will schedule an appointment for you to pick out your puppy. We try to be as flexible as possible in scheduling, but in the event you cannot make it to your scheduled appointment, we will pick out a puppy for you based on your perferences.
